General Shiftiness

Been visiting family and generally trying to settle my shifty-anxious-nervous feelings. Nothing feels right. Everything is normal but not normal. There’s been all kinds of different solar activity. Currently a CME is beaming solar wind our way.

Remind me not to take the red-eye ever again.  Am still trying to catch up.

Solar Flare Exploded Today

Solar flare exploded today (2/13/11). I felt a really strong jolt. When flares or coronal mass ejections are directed at earth they often give me a feeling of déjà vu . Then a vision will flash by. I've noticed that sometimes I'll be anxious afterward. I can get a spurt of creativity or just the jitters.  If you noticed something check out spaceweather.com.

CMEs and Flares

I’ve noticed that when there’s a lot of activity I have a really hard time getting around to talk about it.

This weekend was all shifty for me but I just pushed it aside thinking that I was stressing on work and an upcoming trip.

I was able to get several projects completed and even write up a little piece for the story game on Fantasy-Writers.org

Just confirmed with Michelle that she’s been super productive as well. Another friend, even more sensitive had a meltdown.

This makes me think that it’s when the coronal holes come around and we get the first blast of the solar wind then are in the stream till the coronal hole moves over the western limb. For flares and explosions, we get the blast and it stops.

I’m going to try to log it and see the differences.
